Guest guest
Yes, I was low in iron already and when I started chelating I needed more. Jen > 's labs also showed low iron. Doc suggested 25 mg iron picolinate once per day. has never had a low iron before. Could this be related to chelation? Looking for information on this. > > Thanks. > > > >
Guest guest
Iron decreawse is common in people with oxidative stress. ANtioxidants often correct the problem. Guest guest
Hi There, It could be related to his Autism from what i am reading Autism kids are deficient in A and D. We were just recently told my daughter has Adult Autism, her Ferritin Level(Iron) is very low she was 7 and the normal range is 10-12, i have yet to go back to the doc's at the end of the month and will be requesting blood tests for Vitamin D deficiency. Her orthomolecular Dr. has put her on CLO---2 tsp a day, but we have not checked her " D " level yet. Would CLO be an anti-oxidant? What anti-oxidants would you suggest, Vitamin E? And now she is having anxiety/stress attacks. n [ ] Re: Low iron Iron decreawse is common in people with oxidative stress. ANtioxidants often correct the problem. Guest guest
CLO is pro-0xidant. Vitamin E is a good antioxidant to give with it. 1,000 IU a day or more. Guest guest
Hi Ana, Congratulations to your Mum for being PCRU. Low iron stores are very common. My iron is exceptionally low but interestingly, my Hgb is perfectly fine. Your Mum could ask the doctor about taking Ferrous Gluconate. This is supposed to increase iron stores, although I'll admit, it's done nothing for me I'd be a bit concerned that her doctor is only checking her blood every 3 months. That seems like a really long time to go between blood tests, especially if she's prone to severe anemia. I get mine checked every 6 weeks. If your Mum's Hgb is also very low, she may be eligible for Procrit shots, but again, going 3 months between blood tests is a bit of a concern. Take care, Tarcey > > at last , after almost 3 years my mum got PCR undetectable. now she will have her marrow biopsy once a year and blood check every 3 months. > but her doctor is a little worried because iron is very low, is it a side effect??
