Guest guest
Hi all, I and a group of friends are now planning our 4th annual Leukemia Society Benefit. Our benefit has grown each year. Last year, we raised more than $6,000 in one night for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Some of you were kind enough to make donations of cash or goods for our silent auction. We were featured in the newspaper and television crews even came out and filmed the event, in addition to airing an interview beforehand. We are becoming a known entity in the community, which is exciting. We held the event last year in a beautifully restored historic building in our downtown, which had once been home to the Odd Fellows Association. We were told that our event was one of the best ever held there in recent years! Our event features a house band, a variety of well-known musical performers from the region, a community jam session, and a silent auction, with plenty of wining and dining, too. Anyway, here goes the spiel: If any of you are interested in making a donation of money or goods, please get in touch with me privately. It's a wonderful way to help support the Leukemia Society and maintain funding for research and patient services. And of course, if you are in the area this coming February 2006, you just may want to attend the event too! ~ G. www.cmlsupport.com email: jennifer@...
