Final Draft of manual for positive persons

Dear AIDS INDIA e FORUM MEMBERS,

The final draft of the manual for positive persons is now being pre-tested

at the street level.

The Humsafar Trust is pre-tes5ting the final draft of the manual for

positive persons in mumbai. The manual has been drawn up after a needs

assessment was completed among positive MSM and gay men in Mumbai.

It has an intro showing a road map why you NEED NOT go for a test but if ou

do go, then to remember not to get so worried about the whole process....

It then talks of healthy life styles, what relatives should know, how to

take care of yourself and basic hints on behavior change possbilities.

The manual has a list opf labs/hospitals and other info that people should

know if they are infected.

We're looking for illustrators in the city who can put some humour and make

this manual a bit more friendly in its total outlook.
