Guest guest
He may have been low on sugar. My wife once was one morning inexplicably. Luckily she was running thru her tests anyway. Never happened again, but she travels with some sweets or a fruit or a soft drink with her at all times just in case she feels weak again. _____ From: Bush [mailto:portianay@...] Sent: Friday, November 04, 2005 10:13 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Have A Call In To The Doctor; Requesting Opinions! Guest guest
Hi , There are a variety of reasons he could have passed out, most of which aren't that serious. Dehydration is just one possibility, low blood pressure and low blood sugar are two more. It's also very possible that it has absolutely nothing to do with either Gleevec or CML. Let us know what the doctor says but try not to worry. Tracey
Guest guest
is fine! I am back at work, and he just called to tell me he is back at town. We met at Markey, they did his blood workup, we sat around a while, got the first results, (labs on his blood) and they were the best yet! Then we waited around some more, and got the chemistry, and that looked great, and they said we could leave! His blood pressure was low, when we got there, and he got a slight scolding for not having eaten or drunk anything yet--thank you, wonderful nurses, because Mommy is WHITE NOISE--and he looked dreadful, but blood does not lie, so I am thankful we are where we are right now, and not being admitted to the third floor at Markey!! Thanks for the prayers! Love, > > Hi , > > There are a variety of reasons he could have passed out, most of which > aren't that serious. Guest guest
I certainly hope he has learned his lesson! He was frustrated at the break in his schedule, so perhaps this will do it!!! :-) Thanks! > > His > >blood pressure was low, when we got there, and he got a slight > >scolding for not having eaten or drunk anything yet--thank you, > >wonderful nurses, because Mommy is WHITE NOISE--and he looked > >dreadful, > > > Hi , > I worked at a University Health Center for 30 years and often students > would come in without having had breakfast, etc......and get very light- > headed and even pass out.
