Guest guest
This evening my PCP called me again. As i wrote to you all, this morning he reported on the PET-scan and the radiologist's report as showing active cancer in my lungs again; this evening he reported on a conference he held among himself, my pulmonologist, the surgeon, and my oncologist. None of them believe the PET-scan can be showing cancer because the cancer I had in my lungs was too slow growing to have grown again already. They think I and they must now just watch and wait to see what happens. I will be conferring still with the surgeon and the oncologist next week, but things don't look as grim right now as they did this morning. As I watch and wait about lung cancer, you will all have to wait with me as you are now about CLL! I am sorry to put you all through this, but your company means a lot to me, and I will let you know when they discover what really is happening to me. I appreciate hearing from some of you that you have had similar experiences. I guess it is true that medicine is an art more than a science. Guest guest
Carolyn, We are all here for you. I have been thru the secondary cancer experience too. Keep writing and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I have arrived at a place where I just try to appreciate each day and deal with what comes. It took me a while to get there, and there are still days that I need to calm myself a bit more than others. Keep reaching out.
