Hi , I had the same thing happen in June when I tried to get into the phase 2 BMS trial....my result of cyto was 35%, still a major cyto response, and too good to get in. BUT.....the next trials which may be starting there soon (they are about to start at OHSU) will give you access. I think it is called Study 35. This is for people who are not CCR on Gleevec....or that is my understanding. I also did the work-up........but then BMS said I did not qualify. Also, all you need is one more bad cell and you are in. For me the wait was a good thing....I had some other medical stuff to take care of first. C. Guest guest
, I am a little confused. Are you saying that your fish test was negative and than became positive. What is your Gleevec dosage? Do you thing may be you have build a resistance to Gleevec? With our disease we always are good as our results are. It is helpful to be patient and have our hopes up for better results. I have been in CCR since July 2003. T dxd 1/2003 CCR 7/2003 PCRU pending ----- Original Message ----- From: Loewenkamp Hi All, I've not felt like communicating about this subject until today except with a few people. I had been in CCR since 2002 and then had a FISH abouot 2 1/2 months ago which showed 3% positive.
