Thanks for writing, . I know, just one more bad cell. It's an odd

position to be hoping for one more bad cell. This particular study is just

called Phase III. I haven't heard anything about Phase 35 so that was

interesting.

Are you in a trial now?

Hi ,

I had the same thing happen in June when I tried to get into the phase 2

BMS trial....my result of cyto was 35%, still a major cyto response, and

too good to get in. BUT.....the next trials which may be starting there

soon (they are about to start at OHSU) will give you access. I think it is

called Study 35. This is for people who are not CCR on Gleevec....or that

is my understanding. I also did the work-up........but then BMS said I did

not qualify. Also, all you need is one more bad cell and you are in. For me

the wait was a good thing....I had some other medical stuff to take care of

first.

Hi ,

No I am not in a trial at this time. I have an appt with Dr. Druker early

next month. Carolyn Blasdel was calling the new trials Study 34 and 35????

I thought they were the extended phase 2 trial but I don't know. They have

not actually started yet, but are supposed to soon. Maybe they are phase 3?
