Guest guest
Hello, friends, Bob is doing fine. His last BMB showed 0 FISH, 0 cyto, but PCR was 2.94 out of 100K. He was off the BMS drug for a month when he had the heart surgery, so hopefully that will account for the rise in PCR. His last blood draw on 10/2 at UCLA showed: WBC 4.38 RBC 3.24 HGB 8.5 HCT 27.8 PLT 264 The platelets have been in the normal range for about 4 weeks now.....it must be the HU that was added to the AG. He still has transfusions about every 3 weeks, you can see his H & H is low still. His last transfusion on 9/27 his HGB was 7.7 and HCT was 22.6. He has had a portacath put in his left chest, so that helps a great deal with his blood draws and transfusions. Congratulations to all who are doing well and for those who are still struggling.......keep it up, God is on our side! Oh, I almost forgot......Bob turned 75 yesterday!!! blessed be nancy and bob wilhelm inyokern ca ============================================================
Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for sharing yours and Bob's journey with us these past years and for letting us know that his passage was peacful. I know how grateful you must be for that. I send my sincere condolensces to you and yours as you say goodbye and move forward through Life without your beloved partner. You have been the most attendant caretaker I have ever known of and you must now be at some loss as to what to do with all this time. I know you will continue to be a giving and loving individual. We have all benefited from your comfort and I send my thanks to you for that. Blessings, Loewenkamp [ ] Bob Wilhelm Dear friends, Thank you for your lovely e-notes. Bob passed away yesterday in the hospital. It was NOT from CML. He was still in complete remission on Sprycel. He had many other medical problems and was just very tired. He died peacefully in his sleep, he just stopped breathing. His son and daughter-in-law and I were with him and my daughter from San Diego came just a few minutes later, so he was surrounded with love to take with him on his journey. We were able to stay with him for a long while and it was very hard to say good by, but it was a blessing also, because he just needed to go to be with the Lord and see all his family and friends who have gone before. Again, thank you all for your support and encouragement over the years. Yes, C, he was the Desert Tortoise, until he went on Sprycel in 2004. take care and blessed be Wilhelm
Guest guest
, I am so sorry for you losing Bob, but it certainly was a blessing for him. We are never ever ready to lose a loved one, even though we know it's time. One thing that can never be taken away from us are our memories which are left for us to cherish. God Bless you, . NYC > > Dear > I am saddened to hear of Bob's death. I know how important it is to have a partner who cares for you on this journey and I know from all I have read over the past few years just how much you helped and cared for Bob. I pray you find peace in knowing his struggle is now over and he is at rest > Judy Telford > > > Get the name you always wanted with the new y7mail email address. > www.7.com.au/mail > >
