Guest guest
Hi All, I've not felt like communicating about this subject until today except with a few people. I had been in CCR since 2002 and then had a FISH abouot 2 1/2 months ago which showed 3% positive. I immediately requested a BMB which was done a week later. I had four positive cells. My QPCR was still at about 2.1%. My doctors (I have 2 at this time) started working to get me into a BMS Phase III trial here in Washington, DC. I did all the preliminary lab work and interviews and signed the protocols. My BMB revealed 7 positive cells and my FISH was at 5%. This was only about 2 months after the last tests. Yesterday I was told that I do not qualify for the BMS trial at this time because I'm at 35% positive and you have to be OVER 35% positive in order to enter the trial. The plan now is to wait 6 weeks and do another BMB and see if the positive cells have increased which I suspect they will. That's the news from Virginia.
