Guest guest
I can't remember seeing anyone mention that they have been treated with cytoxan orally to reduce a high white count. The high white count along with a high percentage of lymphs are my only out of line numbers. The absolute count is 86K. When I began treatment with RF in early 2005 my white count was much higher at 308K. But because my count increased from 65K to 86K in the last three months while at the same time my PLTs dropped from 184 to 162, it was suggested that I begin this treatment. I was told I would be on this low dose cytoxan for up to a year. I am wondering if this treatment is something new being tried although I know cytoxan has been around for a long time. Dr. Furman, if you see this, would you be familiar with this cytoxan treatment? Thanks for all the time you give here.
