Dr. Bubalo lecture #5......Vitamin Recommendations

As he ended his talk, Dr. Bubalo said that often people felt he was

only telling them what not to take, so he came up with his list of

recommended vitamins:

*Folic acid.....400-800 mcg/day

*Vitamin B6.....2 mg/day

*Vitamin D.....400 units/day if no sun ***

*Vitamin A.....5,000 units/day

*Vitamin E.....<400 units/day

*Vitamin C.....90 mg/day (125 mg for smokers)

*** Vitamin D....there is presently research going on at OHSU with

Vit. D and cancer and the upper limits are being raised, upwards to

10,000 units/day.

I will post later about Vit. D and R. also recently wrote

that he is reviewing the literature on Vit. D.
