Guest guest
Hi Joann, I had PN for about a year before explant, and now it has been almost two years this Sept. It didnt get any better on its own, afterexplant, once I starting detoxing it did. Although headaches, joint pain in hands and feet, neck pain, dizziness, rashes, swelling, confusion, double vision, muscle twitching all over body, itchy crawly feeling, anxiety, numbness in face and mouth all went away within weeks to months. Some days! My nuerologist said she has never seen nothing like it in a girl my age, (Im 28, but was 26 at the time) and I was showing symptoms of ALS, and MS all together. Getting them out, was the best thing I ever did. I can sleep better now too. For nerves, from a mix of what Dr Mercola told me, and Dr Kolb, (Mercola is my doc here in IL, but can view all his info by going to his website and typing any question, or search words in his search engine, his site is the 2nd largest in America www.mercola.com) this is what Itake" Flax Seed oil , 2 tablespoons per day-to coat the nerves, for omega 3 immunity boosting effects, and detoxing and collecting heavy metals for transport(you need oils to bind) Alph lipotic acid for nerve regeneration sublingual b12for healing nerves Chlorella (see at www.mercola.com ) 14 capsules now per day for heavy metal detox Fiber (Like metamucil) to pull all these toxins out of the bowl and into the toliet. This is just for the nerves, Dr K will help you also with this, as she is seeing alot of this with saline implants/She has great detoxing methods, and tips,if it is too hard for you to do on your own. I just followed her advise for a while when I was overwhelmed, and then added it to what works for me. Almost all the girls I keep in contact with and are very close to, had saline, and are still having these issues, usually in smaller amounts, but they hold on for a while.Good luck with your surgery, all will go well! Where are your PN symptoms, and are you exhibiting alot of neuro symptoms? Saline or silicone? How long did you have them? Guest guest
JoAnn, I am in Illinois. I love Kentucky, me and my hubby spent two summer vacations there by a lake, and were on boats, and wave runners everyday. So natural. Peaceful too. Great sunsets. AS I was talking about earlier, I noticed some swollen nodes in my neck , and groin when I was implanted the last year ,actually my doc did. He said, it was like I was fighting a bad infection. tested me for strep, different things.( I did, my myco and yeast infections from the damn implants) They went away, shortly after explant, I think like 6 months later. So did a positive ANA, and my thyroid antibodies came down way low. but recently I got a viral infection, And I noticed them again, so Im sure they will go down once all is cleared. I was told, and have read they are signs of infection or rarely cancer, and will come down in most cases after all is cleared. Their like filters. Holding in all that crap. I know and my sis still has them, but mine went away until I recently came down with this. Your symptoms sound like mine. it ironic, how nobody sees the connection. I am sure you will have a great outcome, you can email me, or call me 708 672 0469, if you ever have any last minute thoughts, questions, or just want to talk. Kinda that been there, can help you out, done that thing, oh, I'm 29, and have a 3/ 1/2 year old son too! Love, tpo , thanks for the information. I have had my implants for 2 years and 4 months. I have had numbness in the left side of back and hand for 9 months now. I have had swelling behind my knee and lower leg, burning in itching of the feet and hands for 4 months now. Somedays my lower legs feel very heavy and tight, more often now. I am trying to decide if I should wait until surgery date July 8th or try to get in earlier. I live in Kentucky, I am 34 years old, have a 3 year old and have been a single mom since my dtr was 4 months old. I am doing it well, but this illness that has come over me in 12 months is horrible and not worth it. In twelve months I have experienced:1. joint swelling2. stomach problems3. trouble swollowing4. recurrent yeast infections5. lymph node swelling in neck, armpit and groin6. bloating7. craving for sugar8. lower leg swelling (tight/heavy feeling) and sharp pains often9. Stinging in feet and hands10. numbness in back11. burning/itching in feet and hands12. Shortness of breatheMRI said no MS and ANA 1:160 slightly positive. Oncologist says the node swelling doesn't appear to be cancer??? I had a chest xray done Friday and will find out how my lungs are. My Primary Care doctor want to see from this xray if there is any lymph node swelling in my chest. I so, he wants a biopsy done. Did you have any lymph node swelling? , Thanks again for your information you have been very helpful. Where are you from?Love, JoAnn
Guest guest
Joane you sound allot like me, with the elevated ana at 1.160 mine went as high as 1.640 and that scared the crap out of me. I have to tell ya in Kentucky your so close to Ohio aren't you? Well if you have your mind made up to go to Kolb I won't try to tell ya different, but where lymph nodes are involved Feng is wonderful about removing them if need be. I had one in my left breast after implantation and she removed it during my 6 hour sugery. Anyhow who ever you go to know that it gets better every day after that stuff is out of you. I was your age when I got implants, and 36 when I got them out, so I know how it feels, also single mom at the time, though my daughter was older. It sucks doesn't it? You want to be a good mom but when your so sick it really feels like impossible to do! Anyhow god bless you and take heart that most of us do get better, some faster than others. As long as you go to one of the great PS's there are available, you will be happy and get well. hugs -C In , " jbbc_2005 " <jbbc_2005@y...> wrote: > , thanks for the information. Guest guest
Good luck JoAnn. BTW, weeks ago, I tried e-mailing you and your mailbox was full. Take care. janejbbc_2005 <jbbc_2005@...> wrote: , I want to thank you for your information regarding Dr. Feng. I feel that she is an excellent surgeon. I have decided to have the surgery by Dr. Kolb. I feel that Dr. Kolb is an excellent surgeon too. What is sad about all of this is that we are all searching for someone to help make us better or get us on the right track. There is not one doctor out there who is "The One" because everyone has had different experiences with there doctors, it is hard to decide and who knows for sure. I will go with my gutt feeling, which I hate to have to do when it comes to my health. I know god will guide her when my explantion is done. My biggest decision maker was the money. I am a single mom and Dr. Kolb will be at least 2,000 less then Feng. Money is not an easy resource for us right now. I will get the explantation done with a doctor I feel can take care of me and whom I can afford. I will keep you posted on my journey to my upcoming surgery. I thank you again for all your support. Guest guest
Hey I did the same thing, went with my instincts and that worked out for me. If you feel Kolb is the one, and money is the issue then hey, that is a good choice for you. We all have to do what is right for us, and what we can live with in the future. Good luck to you on your upcoming surgery. - In , " jbbc_2005 " <jbbc_2005@y...> wrote: > , I want to thank you for your information regarding Dr. > Feng. I feel that she is an excellent surgeon.
