Re:chronic infections - a questiion

I've had very minimal side effects to IVIG treatments, sometimes a little flushing or itchy throat, sometimes a slight feeling of being "off", but not enough to prevent normal activities. I usually skip the Benedryl given to help reduce reactions, as I have a long drive home, without a problem. I was told by one of the nurses at UCLA that they are getting IVIG from different sources and that those changes can cause slightly different reactions. I will be interested to see what Dr. Furman has to say. I feel like I've added a whole group of understanding friends and a new Doctor in joining this group.
