Guest guest
About 4 years ago I went into kidney failure and had to start treating my SLL/CLL. We used 2 rounds of rituxan a month apart and low dose cytoxan (100 mg daily) for about 10 months. Because my kidneys were so inflamed due to cryoglobulemia I also had high dose prednisone thrown in at the beginning, and then tapered off over a 3 month period of time. All in all (except for the prednisone), it was a well tolerated treatment and put me in CR for four years. Now platelets are dropping (142) and I'm considering whether to treat again, low dose cytoxan and rituxan.
