chronic infections - a question

Happy New Year, all. A question along the lines of infections.

Over the past 7-8 months I've had one infection after another, starting with an

asymptomatic low-grade fever that lasted several months and resulted in weight

loss, extreme fatigue and musle wasting (I lost 20 pounds). I started to feel

better generally, but then soon followed a stream of annoying infections on

fingers (very painful) or mouth sores (ditto). My oncologist said my bloods were

okay, and that sometimes people with CLL have these oddball infections. But it

didn't really start happening until 4 years AFTER diagnosis (Stage IV) and

treatment with Rituxan and Fludarabine. Why should I suddenly get these

infections? Would IgG be good for me?

Thanks!!

Marietta
