Dr Furman could you please respond?

Also anyone who has been through RFC

Hello everyone.

My wife had the bard port successfully installed and now on monday she is going in for the RFC cycle.

The first two were FC only

This will be cycle 3.

Professor Catovsky has said to start the Rituximab in this cycle itself and we plan to split it into 2 doses

200 mg on day 1

500 mg on day 2

Since she now has the port we decided to switch to the IV Fludara and Cyclophosphamide.

The question is what are the timings of the 3 that anyone has had?

last time she had RF in 2002.

so the rituximab was given slowly - over a period of 10 hours or so premidicated with Hydrocortisone 200 mg , Avil 2 ampoules and 2 tablets of paracetamol

Then 3 hours after the Rituximab finished, she was given the Fludarabine.

Then next 4 days it was Fludarabine alone

given every afternoon

Now that she has to have cyclophosphamide, how has it been given to those who have had RFC?

The oral doses she had during the first two cycles were cyclophosphamide 250 mg given first thing in the morning and then Fludara 40 mg in the afternoon.

What exactly is the timings of the RFC protocol?

In this case now she will have Rituximab 200 mg on day 1

then Rituximab 500 mg on day 2 to split the doses as the counts are 70,000 or so.

Fludara is to be given 25 mg m2 and Cyclophosphamide 250 mg m2

When is the Fludarabin and Cyclophosphamide added during these two days?

The third day of course it will only be the FC

How have those who had it at MDA had the cycles?

There seem to be different protocold for the timings. So a bit confusing.

Thank you for your time
