Guest guest
Susie, When I signed the forms at the clinic to go on Glivec I asked for a copy of the forms etc, no copy was given to me, I wasn't even given chance to read them before they were whipped away from me. I have searched under Medicare and see that these forms go to Hobart, more to the point is it true to say with what I read that everyone here in Australia under Medicare is given a 'trial' and if they don't respond in a certain period of time Glivec is no longer offered to them? I hope I'm wrong in this assumption. On the other hand what happens to the patient in the worst case scenario? Jackie
