tx question for Dr. Furman and

Greetings to all list members,

My last blood test showed a big jump in my wbc in one

month--around 30 k- and my lymphocytes also increase

to 119. Essentially both numbers about doubled in six

months and that is what the hemo told me. My spleen

is enlarged but as far as nodes I have two small ones

under my arms and that is it.

I feel fine but the Dr suggested Rituxan. I requested

that we try the prednison first one more time. He

agreed and gave me a course of 60mg daily for two

weeks until the next appointment.

What do you think? Is it foolish to keep the Rituxan

for a later day? thank you for your help in advance.
