Marcia,

There are many variabilities and subtles that would keep me from

being able to answer your questions completely. I recommend you speak

with your physician. It is worth mentioning that the prophylactic

Bactrim and Valtrex do not depend upon neutrophil counts at all.

These prophylactic medications are for lymphocyte dysfunction,

induced by the CLL, steroids, or fludarabine.
