Guest guest
I'm very new to this list, but I can see that Colin Fraser was certainly a beloved character to all that knew him. What is motivating me to write is that I'm somewhat surprised at some of the responses to 's initial 09/15/08 statement: " It is important to find out what went wrong, and I hope to be able to do so in the next few days. Was his death just a question of chance and bad luck? Can we turn this very sad event into a learning experience for some of us? " My mind set is that you always look at what went right and what went wrong, what are the strengths and what are the weaknesses. Rhetorically, when something disturbs, perturbs, perplexes or gives rise to intrisic interest, what is wrong in seeking & finding out particulars & details? Isn't this the karotype of any inquiry? Analyze, synthesize & theorize. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, et cetera, et cetera. From what I have picked up postings describe a person I could readily see being referred to as none other than he himself and lauded with accolades comparable to that of the Lord Mayor of CLLers. I get the impression that he would have a blinding beaming smile that would radiate down from the heavens should someone receive a benefit from such pursuit.
