I failed 6 txs R-Chop for Richters transformation. NO remission achieved My Onc. has no other regimens . What, if anything is anyone else doing or done in my situation? Getting weaker daily. Palliative care, then hospice, seem to be in my immediate future. Any advise, any suggestions? Happy Thanksgiving. Hal Skye.

Hal - Dr. Furman had some suggestions for the patient in Australia. I'm calling your case to his attention.

Hal,

There are additional second line regimens used for patients who do not

respond to, or relapse after, R-CHOP. These include: R-DICE, R-ICE, R-

ESHAP, R-DHAP. It is an alphabet soup. You should discuss with you

oncologist whether you (and he) is comfortable with further treatment.

These are usually well tolerated, but not always. Your oncologist's

experience with them will also be an important indicator.
