Some docs consider a 17p deletion serious, as they think that the p53 issue will make it very difficult to treat. The two do seem to go hand in hand.

I have heard a doc say that the only prognostic he pays attention to is a 17p deletion.

Only goes to support my general skepticism about prognostics.

Thanks so much for your thougths. I am mutated cd_ zap70_ all the good stuff until I need treatment then with the p53 I am am doomed. But I had RF in 05 and still am waiting to decide the next treatment. My remission was short but my time till next treament has been long.
