Hi MJ, One thing that I realized as I sat and listened to Dr. Bubalo (and I still have more notes to post) is that I did not have to concern myself as much about with all the pros and cons.... because my choices were being guided by a well trained professional, the naturopath that I use. I would recommend that you friend work with a ND if they are available and licensed in your state (Texas, right?). Also, the person I work with, who's specialty is oncology, does do telephone consults and has patients that she does not see personally....she also works with their local doctors. I just went to the website to locate a naturopath.......click on Find at top of page www.naturopathic.org and put in Texas..........many listings with their specialties After the lecture, my ND Tina Kaczor and I went up and met Dr. Bubalo....and I will tell you, she could hold her own in conversation with him. He briefly mentioned NDs in his lecture, but I think prompted because I had e-mailed him and told him she would be attending, but I do not think he fully understands the scope and extent of their education. Good luck to your friend....why leave any stone unturned in battling cancer? Maui Nanc
