Guest guest
Hi fellow CLL group, I have been reading for a while and decided now is a good time to join in. I find the information from this group informative, encouraging(knowledge beats not knowing) and enlightening. I finished my 5th and last round of FCR with Leukine the end of March 2008. My counts were too low for more treatments. Last week I had a Bone Marrow and I am awaiting the results. May 2008 BM showed I had improved from 78% to .1% minimal residual. I am hoping this follow up bm will show even better improvement. I see Dr. M Keating at MD . I live in the small Texas town of Gun Barrel City on Cedar Creek Lake. I know the name is unbelievable but it is a nice place to live. Before moving to the lake I lived and worked north of Plano Texas. I am looking for a local oncologist in the Dallas area. It is an hour and forty-five minutes to Plano so I want a Doctor closer to me. Dallas is about an hour so that would be closer. Do any of you have a Dallas Dr. recommendation or just a Dr. you like and have confidence in his judgment? I need someone who doesn't mind working with M.D.A. I would love to hear from you. I loved my Plano oncologist/hem but need someone closer.
