Guest guest
Dr. Furman, I started R+FCR 2 weeks ago and now have been having shaking in my hands, the severity comes and goes. Could treatment be causing these shakes. Diag 4/04 current WBC is 24, lymph nodes much smaller after first treatment.
Guest guest
Dan - I have not heard of this, perhaps Dr. Furman might have a more precise comment. Could it be stress? Guest guest
The hand shaking should not be caused by the treatment. The shaking that one sees with rituximab infusions, i.e. rigors, should only occur while receiving the rituximab. Guest guest
Hello fellow Cller's, I experienced tremors/rigors the weeks following FCR also. It did go away. I was worried about it at the time. I guess it was just a coincidence. I hope yours goes away like mine did. Just an update. I finished FCR in March 2008. My BM showed "no morphologic support for a lymphoproliferative disorder." But on December 23rd 2008 I still have low hemoglobin(10.6) and low platelet count (95)wb (3.5) rb(3.54) lymphocyte percent (15.5) Has anyone else had this experienced of low counts after FCR? Is it likely that they will recover? I guess technically I am RAI stage 4.
