Guest guest
Putting cryptics aside, it's FCR. I did a search for " Triple Therapy: New Standard for CLL " , which returned, among others, this link for a blurp from " Elsevier Global Medical News. 2008 Dec 8 , R Finn " : " http://www.oncologystat.com/news-and- viewpoints/news/Triple_Therapy__New_Standard_for_CLL__US.html " The blurp states: " SAN FRANCISCO (EGMN) - The addition of rituximab to the standard chemotherapy regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide significantly improves progression-free survival in patients with advanced chronic lymphocytic leukemia, according to two large randomized phase III trials. The triple therapy, called FCR, proved superior both in previously untreated patients and in those with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), the most common form of adult leukemia in the United States.... " I went to register 3 times with each attempt resulting in: " An error occurred in the processing of your request. " I then went over to Medscape, signed in & accessed. Try accessing at (within quotes): " http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/585078 " . IF that doesn't work, try logging in at Medscape. IF that doesn't fly, I've copied & pasted Medscape article into MS Word & saved file --- so I can email to you if you want. I've been building a stat review of research founded upon & identified within a paper by Dr. Abbott in The Oncologist 2006 titled: " Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: Recent Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment " . So I may add these stats to my WKS. Dan Cullen Sr. Westchester, NY
