Guest guest
I've posted a time or to about my counts being too low while taking 400 mgs of gleevec and they still are! All my counts look great except for my white blood count it's way too low. Has anyone experienced just this problem? I was diagnosed in August 2005 and have been on and off gleevec so many times I can't count anymore! I was taking 400 mgs every other day and it still brought my wbc too low. Does this mean that I'm not responding and it's not going to work for me? When taking the gleevec it didn't make me feel bad like I hear it does some people. I'm new with all this yet and still don't understand a lot of things. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sheila

Many people who have problems with white count dropping too low early in treatment use Neupogen shots...this is a white cell booster. Your doctor should consider this. C.
