Guest guest
Hi everyone, I tried this once, but my post seems to have disappeared, so I probably hit a wrong button. I was diagnosed with CLL in July (lymph node biopsy), and have been trying to learn as much as I can. I've decided that it's probably past time to see a CLL specialist. I like my onc/hematologist, but I'm thinking that I can probably get a more complete picture of my situation from someone who sees a lot of CLL. I live in the San Francisco bay area, so is there someone at Stanford who specializes in CLL? Would a trip to San Diego to see one of the specialists at UCSD be worthwhile? Any recommendations/thoughts there? It's been a bewildering - and scary - few months, I have to admit. Seems like there's a LOT of information, but few answers. Thanks to all of you who post here. It's been a great resource. Katherina dx 7/08, 44 yrs, Zap70+, CD38+, Blood counts OK 9/08, lots of enlarged nodes, on 1st W & W
