Guest guest
Looks like I'm having really good results from the Rituxan, after just the first treatment. When we did the cbc prior to the second infusion, after one week, my wbc's had gone from 30k, before infuson #1, to 6K; they haven't been that low in seven years! And alc went from 27.6 to 4.6, just a mere .5 from the normal range! Hg & platelets have also popped up from 9.6 & 107K to 10.4 & 149K. (they both dropped a bit immed after the infusion). And nodes & spleen are just shrinking away. It feels so good to have something positive going on with my bloodwork for the first time in years & to have tolerated both infusions so well is just icing on the cake. The plan is to do four infusions for the AIHA & then maybe a couple more just to blast the CLL. There aren't any trials that show this is beneficial, but some anecdotal information from members of this List indicate it can have very positive results. I'll keep you posted. Take care, Marcia in CA dx'd 2000 13q14 unmutated zap-neg AIHA-2007 w prednisone.
