Guest guest
Hmm .. What drug will they be taking and where? Is this at NIH and is it the FO / FCO trial? > As part of the study, both women are taking drugs that are expected to keep the cancer in remission. > > The sisters said that experiencing the same disease — and treatment — together has made their already close relationship closer. > > Information from: The Capital of polis, Md., http://www.hometownannapolis.com/ > > > > >
Guest guest
" As part of the study, both women are taking drugs that are expected to keep the cancer in remission. " While I pray that each of the sisters' cases of CLL stay in remission, I've yet to learn of an approved cocktail that can be expected to produce such results. At this point, I don't know of any trial drugs that can, with certainty, be expected to do so either. But I do believe that very long-term control may be a possibility down the road for a hefty number of people who have the disease today.
