" Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and aggressive skin tumor reported to

occur with increasing prevalence in the past decade.

One of the established features of MCC is its tendency to occur in association

with other primary tumors, mostly skin and hematologic malignancies and in

particular B lymphoproliferative disorders.

In this respect, patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) seem to have

the highest relative risk of developing this tumour "
