Guest guest
Atypical lymphocytes are usually larger than small lymphocytes. They may be prolymphocytes or cells with clefted nuclei or cells that seem to be maturing to plasma cells. They often are associated with trisomy 12 or del 11q, but may simply be cells reacting to infection of some other stimulus.
