Guest guest
Friends I am doing well in terms of my ITP and CLL, though the recent deaths of 2 members of our small CLL support group in Orange County has been a destabilizing shock wave for me and the other survivors in our group. The recent tragic onslaught of CLL and transplant related deaths and the good news about the tyrosine kinase inhibitors from ASH has made me reassess my plans for a 2nd transplant. I am planning to take a few weeks off from having anything to do with CLL or ITP or transplants. Radio and internet silence. This is a real luxury that I wish for everyone on the list: a time of not needing to pay close attention to nodes and labs and the latest research and clinical trials and the the difficult journeys of friends. Please forgive me if I do not respond to your personal emails for a few weeks. I welcome them, but I will be out of the loop until the end of the month. Stay strong We are all in this together I will check in again in February.
