Guest guest
After two treatments with Rituximab my WBC is within normal (at ~6 from ~16 to 20) and the swollen lymph nodes in my neck are just about at normal. This is great! Is it common for Rituximab to work so quickly and how long does it normally last? Thanks, Chris (Poconos)
Guest guest
R, the drug Rituxan worked that quickly for my husband too. You could almost see the nodes melting away on the very first infusion, and counts all went to normal before the end of the 4 infusions. For him, the Rituxan had to be repeated every 8 - 12 months as the nodes would creep back up again in about that amount of time, although all blood counts except platelets remained pretty well within normal limits between treatment as long as he did not go too long between. Great to hear you got a quick result, you may be a good responder to Rituxan too! Beth
