Guest guest
I have been taking CAL-101 for a year now and have had good results so far. But after falling to 9.5 after cycle 8, my lymphocyte count rose to 13.6 after cycle 10 and 19.5 after cycle 12. My last CT scan showed some internal nodes slightly decreased and others slightly increased from the previous scan. My hemoglobin and platelet counts have contined to improve even while the ALC has gone up. I am now on the extension trial, but my doctor says CAL-101 may stop working for me. If so, she wants to refer me to a transplant doctor (I have 17p deletion). I was thinking that maybe adding Rituxan would help. I believe the extension trial allows this. Also, I take 300mg of CAL-101 once per day. Perhaps going to 150mg twice per day would be better as that has been determined to be the optimum dosage.
