Guest guest
I knew Fred not well at all, but he shared the same doctor with me in NYC, Dr. Kempin. I was told by Dr K that Fred died around Christmas. He had had a Richter's Transformation and then continued to have problems. The last time I saw him at the Cancer Center he looked very bad. Dr. K visited him at his home where Fred had requested hospice and that day asked Dr K to go out to the nearest deli and get him pastrami sandwich and french fries which he did. I loved hearing that! Fred was apparently a very well known photographer and artist and in my small knowledge of him, was a very smart, creative, unusual man and an actively involved patient. The world will be less for losing him. Carol
