Hi , You know, I think this trial doctor was just following the protocol when he asked you about the option of BMT. Many/most of the trial protocols say that patients who are candidates for a BMT should not be put on experimental drugs. It was OK for you to be thinking....'you gotta be kidding....would I rather go through all the rigors of a BMT....or take this little pill........I think I will opt for the pill, thank you! " and/or they are always on the hunt for another BMT patient? Best to you, C.
