Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had my bmb today. They used IV Ativan and another one. I was awake and only in pain a couple of times. It went well. I'm sore now and using an ice pack. So, Abbott is claiming that I've had a complete response with my lymph nodes, blood and spleen. If the bone marrow comes back clean will that mean that I don't have CLL anymore? The doctor that did the biopsy today said that he'd go into a transplant at this point since the disease is so pushed back. And, my igg levels are extremely low. If I have had a complete response then why are the igg levels still so low and the risk of infection still a factor? I'm just kind of confused. You guys are so good about feed back I thought I'd post my questions to you. I know I could always call Dr. Kipps once I have all the results. It was him that suggested the ABT-263 two years ago. I did it in Tucson since San Diego is far for me. Also, my platelets are on the low side--128 and the site of the bmb is bleeding again. I think I got it to stop now. So, I'll keep you informed but any wisdom you may have I'd so appreciate. Lori
