Guest guest
It would be a good idea to get checked out by a CLL expert doctor. MD Cancer Center in Houston, Texas has one of the leading CLL doctors in the U.S. His name is Dr. Keating. They also have several other doctors that specialize in CLL. You might want to look into this. Check out the CLL Research Consortium online. It has a list of the 6 or 7 other cancer centers in the USA that have a CLL specialty. UCSD (La Jolla, CA) is one & Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN & Arizona) is another. Also you can go to http://cll.acor.org/DRdoctors.html to get a list of all the CLL doctors in the USA. Guest guest
YuVonna, I can highly recommend: Dr. Artim 701 West Leuda Street Ft. Worth, TX 76104 (817) 921-9648 I have had CLL since 2001, I was treated with FCR at MD in 2004 was in remission until July 2007. My platelets have never recovered from the FCR and in October of 2007 I developed ITP. I was treated in 2008 and 2009 at UT Southwestern in Dallas with Rituxan and had a severe reaction both times. Since early 2010 I have seen Dr Artim and have received Rituxan infusions with no reaction, for me he is the best doctor I've had since I was diagnosed in 2001. He is very knowledgeable regarding CLL. Tipton age
