Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am glad I found this board. I am almost 67 and have recently been diagnosed with CLL but my stage and actual prognosis is still under discussion. I am so confused by all of the tests, deletions, mutations, genetics, etc. And I want to know as much as possible before my next appointment with my oncologist. So I will ask straight out if anyone has any bone marrow results like these: Postive Zap-70, 11q deletion, unmutated IVGH, no CD38, 24,000 +- white cell count (normal blood count and cells four months earlier) at time of diagnosis. I am waiting for results of a CT scan of abdomen, chest and pelvis. My mother was diagnosed with CLL in her late 70s and lived to age 91 with stage 0 the entire time and died from something unrelated two weeks ago as I was being tested. I expected the same type of CLL but I guess not. Anyone else have relative with CLL? This is why I am so confused. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. I have no idea how long I can remain symptom free.
