Guest guest
Bendamustine is administered as a 28 day cycle. While physicians could alter schedules and doses, it is important to remember that there are no data suggesting " dose intensity " is important in CLL. This means that since CLL grows slowly, there are no data that shortening the interval between treatments will improve the efficacy of treatment. The other issue is that it will definitely increase the toxicities of treatment. Based upon counts, age, etc, I frequently administer fludarabine on a 5 week schedule instead of a 4 week in order to allow more time for recovery.
