Guest guest
Hi YuVonna, Fortunately, cytopenias are treatable, and generally are not survival limiting. As we all know, each of our CLLs has individual variations and complications. Having the expertise and experience of a CLL specialist hematologist to sort out the needed actions is important. FCR has apparently been hard on my bone marrow functions, as well. Am 26 months post-start-FCR and my counts are still suppressed. WBC 2.4L, RBC 3.93L, platelets 121L, Abs lymphs 499L, neuts very low normal. CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell counts are also only about 10% of lower normal value and stable. So, low counts can persist for an extended period, varying by individual. Regards, Tim Klug
