Guest guest
I had a breast cyst removed last Thursday. I had been dealing with it for over 10 years. It had been aspirated 3 times, the last being about a month ago when it immediately refilled. Pathology report today reported CLL cells in the cyst lining, as determined by the usual stains etc. I think I've had a naive mental model of my CLL .. I have had little node involvement until recently but a very high WBC. So I've thought of CLL as a " liquid " disease, running around the lymph highways with stopovers in the spleen, nodes and other not fully understood places. Clearly I've missed the notion of cells settling or imbedding into tissue, even though I've read posts of other CLL-ers discussing this. So .. would love to hear the experience of others .. where did your CLL end up and how was it discovered / analyzed in that location? Stomach? Skin? Where else? Did the tissue manifestations go away with treatment? I'm going to post this question on the other forums as well, so sorry if you see it too many times. Hopefully the responses will be varied, interesting and educational. Thanks Lynn
