Hi .

Realised CLL was a pain in the backside not long after

diagnosis. When bone and joint pain became a real issue for

me. Repeated investigations into the to aggravation of this

issue when sitting, driving or laying in bed only resulted

in me being bounced between different medics with no

answers. I too would welcome some feedback as staying on my

feet only results in swollen ankles.

A BMB last spring showed 40% infiltration of the marrow and

radiology located altered pelvic nodes and evidence of early

onset of arthritis. No other action suggested. Increased

activity though uncomfortable has helped as has the summer.

But I cannot remain in one position for too long.

Nick - are your kidney values OK and or could you have a

heart valve problem? I started with edema because of a leaky

heart valve. When I added CLL to my collection it presented

itself in my kidneys and caused terrible edema in my legs. I

wish I had an answer for the bone pain, but don't overlook

the swelling.

Thank you Pat, I've been told to put the swelling down to

the Amlodapine I take for hypertension. The swelling does

involve the entire left leg at times, but recent kidney

discomfort caused me to have bloods done, which came back no

further action required. Some thing's not right but have

just added it to the rest. I will bring it up again at my

next visit with the GP.

Take care

Same here, unable to stay in one position for too long. I

to am sure that I have onset of arthritis, but nothing

significant to report in blood results for these areas.

Lucky that I can stay on my feet for an hour or 2.

Good luck.

Regards
