Guest guest
Hi Adrienne, As you know from my emails, I think that anything you develop needs to be considered in light of your CLL, and that includes cutaneous conditions. There are solid medical reasons for that, having to do, for instance, with suppressed Langerhans cells or cutaneous dendritic cells. Do you have a CLL specialist who could consult with your dermatologist? Is your dermatologist the right person at this point? Try this link: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=CLL%20and%20plantar%27s%20warts or http://tinyurl.com/3hag2l8 I see the author of the first listed article is Dr. T. J. Hamblin. Dr Hamblin is a retired CLL researcher-clinician of great accomplishment. He still maintains a blog on CLL, and stays current in the field. He posts on the ACOR list from time-to-time to our great collective benefit. You can reach him through http://mutated-unmuated.blogspot.com/ (although the second word is misspelled, the link is correct). I also recognize Dr. Catovsky's name from the second article. Perhaps someone else has ideas on this, too. I have corresponded with Beth ..who is great...thanks for reminding me...
