Guest guest
I just wanted to say " THANKS " to everyone and their responses. This is such an awesome and supportive group. I am heartened to hear the personal stories and advice from so many of you, and more than anything, it helped me to see that getting help, as a parent of individuals with special needs, is and should be part of the norm. We all hold on to such pressure and stress, it is a true blessing that we are all still able to function. Thanks again to everyone!! PS - My husband has his first appointment on Monday!!! -------------- Original message -------------- From: crzymomf3@... This is slightly off topic, but I thought that I would give it a try. Does anyone have a good counselor/social worker/psychologist for the parents of special needs kids - someone that might understand the struggles at home, worries about the future, and the need to find the proper work/life/family balance? My husband is struggling with these right now, and I don't want him to just pick someone out of the phone book!! Thanks in advance for any recommendations,
