Guest guest
Something wrong with that report. monocytes and eosinophils are white cells so they must be less than the WBC total In a message dated 14/06/2011 Karla writes: WBC 6.3k (normal) down from 120k+ before tx Monocytes 29.8k (normal range is 4.1-12.2) Eosinophil. 18.5k (normal 0.8-6.0k) still high, last time it was 20k RBC 3.94 million (big improvement over 2.1 when started tx)
Guest guest
Although the monocytes and eosinophils are slightly high, they are probably insignificant in the context. In a message dated 14/06/2011 Karla wrote: /message/15364
Guest guest
Hi Everybody: The R-CHOP was a mistake on the slip. My Dad started his fifth round of FCR this week. His eosinophils are still way too high, and now his monocytes are very elevated too. His oncologist has no idea why--and his only solution is a bone marrow biopsy when the chemo finishes. WBC 6.3k (normal) down from 120k+ before tx Monocytes 29.8k (normal range is 4.1-12.2) Eosinophil. 18.5k (normal 0.8-6.0k) still high, last time it was 20k RBC 3.94 million (big improvement over 2.1 when started tx) Any ideas?? Anybody else face an issue with monocytes and eosinophils?? Are these side effects of the FCR? Could there be another cancer lurking? Thanks, Karla
