Guest guest
I had a consult with Stanford as an untreated patient, thinking I might be a candidate for the PCI-32765 or CAL-101+R studies for elderly untreated patients. I was not considered to need treatment at this time. Just received a call about another study / trial going on there .. this one has been ongoing for several years and is looking at the effect of Lipitor on CLL in untreated patients. Anyone doing this trial or have any info on it? I'm also in the CLL Natural History Study at NIH, so wouldn't consider doing this if it took me out of that study. Also wouldn't want it to impact my eligibility for any of the PCI-32765 or CAL-101 studies for untreated patients. Thanks for any comments. Guest guest
Hi...what's with the Lipitor in CLL patients. I am in WW for 6 yrs and have been on Lipitor for much of that time. My recent WBC jumped from 23 to 31 in 2 months. I have lymph nodes in my neck...one on the submandibular quite large. If I get one on the other side I'll look like a chipmunk. Hematologist says I am in low risk... but I am concerned.. > > I had a consult with Stanford as an untreated patient, thinking I might be a candidate for the PCI-32765 or CAL-101+R studies for elderly untreated patients.
