There are always some like who get the sticky end of the lollipop while others get a much better than average response. That is true whatever treatment you go for. Just because someone gets a terrible response does not mean that you will; if someone gets a tremendous response it doesn't mean that you will. But with FCR most people with del 11q will get a response that is as good as someone with trisomy 12 or a normal karyotype. Nothing can predict what every individual will get. Life isn't fair.
