Dr. Ken Moses in ton is very well known for his work with parents

of children with special needs I went to see him when my son was

diagnosed with autism and he helped me tremendously. He has written

books and speaks frequently for audiences on the topic as well.

I work with Barbara Chamberlain who is an LCSW, she facilitates a group therapy

session twice a week at Arts of Life, where I work. She has over 20 years

experience in the field with focus on the developmentally disabled population.

Her website and contact info can be found at www.bacconsulting.org/.

Counseling for Parents

This is slightly off topic, but I thought that I would give it a

try.

Does anyone have a good counselor/social worker/psychologist for the parents of

special needs kids - someone that might understand the struggles at home,

worries about the future, and the need to find the proper work/life/family

balance?

My husband is struggling with these right now, and I don't want him to just pick

someone out of the phone book!!

Thanks in advance for any recommendations,
