Guest guest
Dr. Ken Moses in ton is very well known for his work with parents of children with special needs I went to see him when my son was diagnosed with autism and he helped me tremendously. He has written books and speaks frequently for audiences on the topic as well. Guest guest
I work with Barbara Chamberlain who is an LCSW, she facilitates a group therapy session twice a week at Arts of Life, where I work. She has over 20 years experience in the field with focus on the developmentally disabled population. Her website and contact info can be found at www.bacconsulting.org/. Counseling for Parents This is slightly off topic, but I thought that I would give it a try. Does anyone have a good counselor/social worker/psychologist for the parents of special needs kids - someone that might understand the struggles at home, worries about the future, and the need to find the proper work/life/family balance? My husband is struggling with these right now, and I don't want him to just pick someone out of the phone book!! Thanks in advance for any recommendations,
